Selection Process: Detailed Overview

SBI Trade Finance Officer recruitment : the selection process consists of shortlisting and an interview, as outlined below:

1. Shortlisting

  • Meeting the minimum qualifications and experience does not guarantee an invitation for an interview.
  • A shortlisting committee, formed by the Bank, will establish specific parameters for shortlisting candidates.
  • Based on these parameters, an adequate number of candidates, as determined by the Bank, will be shortlisted for the interview.
  • The Bank’s decision regarding the shortlisting of candidates for interviews is final, and no correspondence will be entertained regarding this matter.

2. Interview

  • The interview will carry a total of 100 marks.
  • The Bank will decide the qualifying marks required to pass the interview.
  • The decision of the Bank in this regard is final, and no correspondence will be entertained.

3. Merit List

  • The merit list will be prepared in descending order based on the scores obtained in the interview.
  • If multiple candidates score the same cut-off marks, they will be ranked in descending order of age.

This selection process ensures transparency and fairness in evaluating candidates for the role.
